Description
Taking its name from the Celtic goddess of flowers and springtime, OLWEN is a hand-painted watercolour damask. The motif is composed of scrolling vertical columns, detailed with birds, fruits and flowers then finished with ionic-style finials. The design was painstakingly pieced together from four separate drawings, all found in the archives of Gainsborough: the Suffolk mill that has produced some of the worldes finest furnishing fabrics since 1903.
