Design: Amarantha Wallpaper

For the new season, House of Hackney visited the iconic ZUBER archives in Rixheim, France and set about reimagining a selection of their traditional wallpapers for a current audience. The Amarantha design inspired by a print dating back to around 1850 showcases a French rococostyle blockprinted background with an overlaid floral motif. An unexpected col palette comprising inky blues, gold and turquoise gives this opulent design contemporary appeal. wallpaper is produced using PVCfree, ecofriendly materials and promises minimal environmental impact at every stage of production. For every order placed, House of Hackney will make a donation to Friends of the Earths campaign to double the UK tree cover by 2045 providing a natural defence against climate change as well as a home for wildlife.
